Tooting Sea Cadets

The Lord Mayor, Alderman The Lord Mountevans, was the guest of honour at the Company’s annual Civic Dinner which was held at Barber-Surgeons’ Hall on Tuesday 24 May.  He was accompanied by the Lady Mayoress, Alderman and Sheriff Bowman and his wife, Sheriff Rigden and her husband, and Mr Neil Chrimes who is the Head of Programmes at Mansion House.   Also present as guests of the Company were Dr Roy Palmer, Master Apothecary, who was accompanied by his wife and Clerk, and Rear Admiral Sir Jeremy de Halpert, Prime Warden Shipwrights, who was also accompanied by his wife and Clerk.  A Carpet Guard was provided by a detachment of cadets from the Company’s affiliated Sea Cadet Unit, HMS Constant, based at Tooting.
